Meet Wendi

Wendi Russo has called Eden Prairie home for more than 20 years, moving to Minnesota for her broadcasting career. She and her husband, Corrado, a small business owner, met during a vacation in Italy 22 years ago, and together, they have one daughter, Chloe who currently attends the University of Wisconsin - Madison and is a graduate of Eden Prairie High School.

Wendi has a long record of serving the community through many local charities including Kids for Kinship, Make-A-Wish, Wishes & More, Dress for Success, Boys & Girls Club Twin Cities, Special Olympics, the Dwelling Place Shelter for Women, and Breaking Free, a shelter helping survivors of human trafficking. Wendi is also a co-founder and board member of American Hero Wishes, granting wishes to wounded veterans. Additionally, she serves as a board member of the first African Fashion Week Minnesota.

Wendi Russo is running for state representative to give a voice to those community residents who are struggling and to advocate for policies that improve safety and prosperity for the people of Eden Prairie. Her goal is to represent the citizens of Eden Prairie in legislative decisions that are fiscally responsible, that help our seniors, working families and young people, and that ensure everyone can afford to live, work and thrive safely in Eden Prairie.
